This GeoNode instance has been developed in the frame of the "Supporting Sustainable Mountain Development in the Caucasus (Sustainable Caucasus)" project, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation under the SCOPES Program, and coordinated by the University of Geneva.

Some capacity building material about GeoNode has been developed and adapted with specific Caucasus examples. A dedicated tutorial and virtual machine containing related data, software and exercises are available here

Data is available for browsing, aggregating and styling to generate maps which can be shared publicly or restricted to specific users only.
GeoNode allows registered users to easily upload geospatial data in several formats including shapefile and GeoTiff.
